Bonnie Woods studied Design and Art History at the University of Houston and Advertising Art and Journalism at the University of Oklahoma. At UCSD, Bonnie earned a Professional Certificate in the Arts. She has studied with leading watercolor instructors including Charles Reid, Milford Zornes, Alex Powers, Carla O’Conner and Ken Goldman.
Bonnie is a Signature Member of the National Watercolor Society, San Diego Watercolor Society, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies. She is an Associate Member of the American Watercolor Society in New York, the California Watercolor Society, The Athenaeum of Art in La Jolla, TheNational Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C.
Bonnie is represented in galleries, on-going shows and exhibitions on a regular basis. Her paintings can also be found in hotels, corporations, publications and private collections. Bonnie artwork has been featured in Watercolor Magic, San Diego Home and Garden and Sketchbook magazine. A very special piece was included in the book “A Bit of Velvet and a Touch of Lace” by Country Living.
